Kitchen Organizing the Smart Way!

A Blog by Dee Cox, Home Economist

STEP 7 – HOW MUCH CABINET/STORAGE SPACE IS NEEDED AT EACH WORK CENTER?

The amount of cabinet space you need in your primary work centers depends on the number of people you feed, how often you eat at home, the complexity of your cooking, how often you shop, what you buy, the amount of equipment you use, and how elaborately you serve meals. Sound complicated.  It is not.

This will be a good time to look back at your Worksheet 1 “Cook’s Profile” before you begin WORKSHEET 7— KITCHEN STORAGE TEST and MEASUREMENT OF YOUR KITCHEN STORAGE. How does your kitchen measure up?

USING WORKSHEET 7 – TAKE THE KITCHEN STORAGE TEST AND MEASURE YOUR OWN KITCHEN STORAGE SPACE.
